So we woke up in San Antonio this morning and after a lovely breakfast Jae left for us, we hit the road. For the next 9 hours.
Kind of the same everywhere isn't it? There were some fun hilly bits though to keep things lively.
Kamiah drove in Sid's car today, which meant I was on my own in the Civic with Romeo. Here are my impressions of Texas, as shown in a series of photos taken with my cell phone (which irritatingly interrupted my music each time I took a picture). These span about 5 hours.

Turns out driving through Texas was comfortable. Probably because, as you will see (or have already) in Kamiah's post we spent a lot of time in the Southwest US when we were kids. Guess the upshot of that is a higher tolerance for Texas in adulthood. Thanks, Mom and Dad!
Romeo was less entertained by Texas.
In closing, Texas is long and very much the same, but we're in Las Cruces now (my third time in New Mexico in two months!) so at least it's over.

HAHAHAHA, Romeo actually does look less than entertained! Usually every facial expression he has is the same, but this one clearly says, "I am miserably bored."
